Between 2000 and 2003, I periodically turned my kitchen into a felting studio to produce seamless felt mittens, which I began to custom make for friends. The pairs were eventually borrowed back for exhibition and both feltmaking and felt mittens became an integral part of my project "Sponge," 2006–2016.
